No. The list of players who are isn't very long and none of them would consider coming here.

From YouTube, he looks like a CM that likes to run with the ball and advance into attacking areas. He'll be surrounded by players and somehow manages to sneak past them all through using his skill and positional sense to dribble past players.

He's much more of a box to box then someone who sits in front of the back four.

Allan is exactly the type of player we need, good at everything, a leader and doesn't miss many games. He might be 29 but 2/3 good years out of him is worth the money being banded around IMO. He's 100 percent better than our CM mid options at the moment and plugs a glaringly large and annoying hole in our side.
