A question-

How does Phillip Coutinho fit into a 4-4-2? Does he play wide? Does he lose effectiveness? Or does he drop into an advanced middle 2?

seen him linked in the echo (i know)
I do know Carlo is a really big fan

if we were to sign a Coutinho or a Rodriguez or a Depay etc would we see a formation change to accomodate them?

although he does orefer a 4-4-2 everything i have read about Carlo is he is not strict to a philosophy he simply adapts to get the best out of the players he has

He's crap, Barkley was "better" at almost every single thing than he was the year Barcelona bought him. Absolutely boggles my mind what anyone sees in him.

I don’t think for one second we are getting coutinho, but I think at Milan for a while he played a 4222. With the middle 2 being the playmakers coming off the flank. I suppose that would suit Bernard and Iwobi, it’s just getting a similar player to play on the right.

I’m not sure a coutinho type player could play a more midfield role, while we get a attacking player down the right who scores goals, or maybe shift Richarlison over for a new striker.

Would be exciting to watch at home, not sure about the discipline and being solid away from home. It will be interesting to see how Ancelotti builds the team moving forward.
Someone mentioned Zielinski yesterday. And he sort of fits that more of a midfielder playing wide.

Zielinski is an amazing player, I am excited also, i am really hoping the Club invests in Carlo targets

it’s been interesting to see how involved Gordon has been in the training video’s and how clean his finishing has been also

I am not anticipating many changes for the remaining 9 games but am very excited for next season to see what system Carlo designs and implements for us

that milan formation sounds intriguing, but as you say away from home in the prem it sounds like suicide lol
