I can understand talk of signing John Stones... it will never happen but at least I understand it.
Talk of signing Foden is just weird.

Chelsea are out there spending millions after deferring wages, too.
Our owner called it ‘monopoly money’. Let’s see him put his money where his mouth is when we are in dire need of an overhaul.
I don't think he is. Salah and Mane start wide but they are the chief goal scorers in the team as Firmino drops deeper to set up chance and link play. Traore is more of a true winger. Honestly in their team his best fit is at right back I think. He’s pretty perfect for their system though isn’t he? And if we’re being honest he’s been one of the best wide players in the league this year.
Was speaking more to the pace, directness, ability to counter. He wouldn’t be displacing Salah or Mane but as an option for depth, he fits how they want to play, even without scoring as much as the other two.I don't think he is. I think he does some things they want but my guess would be more natural fits exist. Was speaking more to the pace, directness, ability to counter. He wouldn’t be displacing Salah or Mane but as an option for depth, he fits how they want to play, even without scoring as much as the other two.
I don't know why you can't just think things through..Chelsea are out there spending millions after deferring wages, too.

Does anyone remember the midfield duo in Moyes final season when we finished 6th with Fellani playing in front of them as a 10?
Darron Gibson and Leon Osman. Dont let your anti-Moyes specs fool you, they controlled the midfield far better than the tosh we've seen this season.
It's not always about getting the best players, but the right players.
And no, I'm not saying we should bring Gibson back up and bring Osman out of retirement.
If we bought an entire new midfield we would have to wait a season for them to gel and begin to become a team.We don’t have the luxury of being cautious. We need an entire new midfield and it can’t be postponed.
I think at one point there was some crazy stat that if Gibson started we went like 16 straight games without losing. He was pretty good for a short period of time.Gibson was actually very good for a spell with us. He'll be more remembered for his awful off field antics. But on field he's a mile ahead of what we currently have.
I actually thought in that season he was the most important player in the team. The guy could thread a pass through the eye of a needle. Shame he's had so many off the field issues.Gibson was actually very good for a spell with us. He'll be more remembered for his awful off field antics. But on field he's a mile ahead of what we currently have.
Just to annoy you NymzWhy we talking about Liverpool transfer target lads.

My suggestion of buendia was because I thought there could be a lot of value there as even in a truly rubbish PREM team he is still managing to create all these chances and I think we are really lacking a creative outlet and goals gotta come from somewhere but if we do manage to get a goal scoring winger in a proven league then yeah good, can't think of any though as don't watch much of other leagues, I think Boga who we've been linked with has scored a few but never watch himOf course we can, danny ings is smashing them in, we can attract players the calibre of digne and kean, we can find a winger somewhere in the world who can boast good figures. We'll go nowhere buying rubbish from Norwich who score one goal a season though, it's why we want to upgrade from Walcott in the first place
