Bit of both really.

We haven't unlimited money to spend and need to move players on. But thats partly up to Brands to do deals as well.

But I think the evidence is that Brands prefers to wait to the very end of windows. I just dont agree with it. We haven't started a season well since Koeman's first season and that has to be the aim this year.

Other than Chelsea, nobody else is really doing loads of business at the moment, everybody is skint!

Everybody seems to be waiting for something.

And actually not sure Chelsea signing Thiago Silva and a left-footed version of Zouma is that much to get worried about.

They'll have to pay stupid, stupid money for Oblak.

Werner and Ziyech should be good additions. Havertz - it seems to be stocking up in a position they're really strong in but obviously the lad's a talent.

Regardless, none of the players they've got were ever coming to us.

I have big doubts that Carlo will be backed. He should be 100% in charge, not having to take instructions from a director of football.

It's sad isn't it? We get a winning, world class manager and we wasted all our funds on the likes of Silva and Koeman. We signed 3 number 10s in one window. It's sad to think that with every one good signing (Gana and Richarlison) we get like 4 bad signings

We need a couple of midfielders in for the September fixtures. I dont mind waiting for the other positions. But if we are going to spurs with Davies and Sigurdsson in the middle of the park then something has gone wrong.
