There were some common sense posters not buying into a substandard manufacturer.

Its unfortunate to be vindicated by stick on badges, lets hope Hummel get there act together before any shirts fall apart while we’re playing in them.

Is it all shirts, or just a small minority not following washing instructions?

Not personally, but there have been pictures shared on here and social media of tbe logos peeling off the training kits and training hoodies. But not the actual home shirts. Still not good. I noticed that on the kids versions of the kit, the badges are sewn on, not just stuck on. I guess with the kids kit the assumption is that they need to be more hard wearing than the adults. I'm not sure how much Hummel have a saved by not stitching the badges on, it can't be more than a few pence each shirt though surely?

It's my understanding that the "stick on" badges are actually what the players have - it's heat sealed and reduces rubbing. Obviously there's been some problem but with training gear there doesn't tend to be a difference in real and replica versions. So this might explain it.

I haven't seen all the kits and training gear in the flesh, but the badge on the training gear looks thinner than the kit. In The pictures of it peeling off it seems paper thin

I’ve washed my shirt multiple times and do you know what it’s absolutely fine!

In the nicest possible way we all know social media is an affront to common sense and you really don’t know how these people have been washing/what they’ve been doing with these shirts

if the logos come off ill buy the kit instantly, could do with just having the crest.
