Everton new home kit 2020/21
A big winner. Yes, I’m as surprised as you that it's number one. This somehow reminds me of about six different great Everton shirts at once. The pattern on the front is the waveform of Z-Cars, but I’m sure you recognised that immediately. Astonishingly 'visual representation of song team run out to / fans sing' has become a bit of a shirt design cliché. But it works here, as does everything else. The glorious return of Hummel from the realms of tedious coffee table football books, its tasty chevrons on the shoulders and shorts, the impeccable sleeve trim, perfectly balanced socks. I even quite like the clever letter A car in the logo. It’s a car! It looks like a car! The company is also a car! Or something. Well done, Everton. Disproving once and for all the old adage you’ll win nothing with kits.
