A loss would put us 12th. That wasn't a throwaway comment by Moshiri, he has sacked managers who performed better than Silva. He's a man under pressure.

Given the relatively winnable fixtures coming up, I think this could be a make or break period for Silva.

Yeah its a real sorry state of affairs when even a win tomorrow wont let us catch up to West Ham, Leicester or Watford. The damage of the poor performances over the past 6 weeks showing its face and its not pretty.

Leicester lost again today. A win for us and we are still in the mix for 7th at least.But we need to go on a run of wins, and upcoming games are all winnable.

A back 4 with no protection in midfield? Not sure I've any confidence in that line-up mate.

But back to the delusional optimism that always seems to creep into my head in the 24 hours before a game. The away at Burnley shows there is a decent performance in Everton when it all clicks and I reckon it clicks tomorrow for absolutely no good reason other than I'd like it to.
