With Gabriel suspended, assume David Luis is in for 90 minutes. Zhaka not much better of late either. Get a snarly Richarlison in both their faces from the off and Dom to work off the scraps arising. At home, with a crowd under the lights of a Saturday evening, there is another potential marker result available to us here.
2-0.

Loved Arteta as a player for us. He was a total snide but did it with class. It didn’t bother me as much as it did others when he celebrated scoring against us. hate it when players don’t celebrate.

Hope we win but he keeps his job and has some managerial success.

Olsen
Coleman - Mina - Keane - Godfrey
Iwobi - Holgate - Doucoure
Rodriguez - DCL - Richarlison

This current Arsenal team has no grit, no character and no resilience. Get the lead against these and they'll crumble. For that reason, I'd start Coleman and Rodriguez in their preferred positions, bank on them lasting for at least the first half and set up to take a lead. Holgate slides into CM, sitting back somewhat as Iwobi and Doucoure do all the running. Iwobi has shown signs of life recently and frankly, who else is there to play on that side who can overlap beyond Rodriguez when he cuts inside?

If we snatch a lead using this personnel group, we have the likes of Nkounkou, Davies, Bernard, Gomes and Gylfi in reserve to come on and see out the game. Any problem with Coleman, Holgate drops into RB and one of the reserve CMs comes on. If Rodriguez breaks down, push Iwobi into the front three and bring one of the reserve CMs on.

Winning this would really give us a boost. It's a big opportunity to solidify our position in the top quarter of the table and we couldn't have hoped for Arsenal to be in such disarray.

Arteta is lucky lad for covid as 40 thousand Evertonians would have eating him alive.

My concern is that whoever replaces Allan, will probably have a history of being a waste of a place over the last couple of seasons.

This fixture was the worst game of the season last year when Arteta had just taken over.

They have good players out of form and we tend to have a tendency to 'help them out'!

They play with a very fast right to left counter, tons of pace. If I spotted it, I am sure Carlo has.

Set up like we did against Leicester, Gomes in for Allan. Be nice to beat Arsenal.
That would be Holgate and he is definitely not a waste of a place...
