I'd be fine with a point here.

It's all well and good fuming about defeats, but many of us would have been fuming if we'd drawn against any of Newcastle, Southampton and perhaps even United.

If we'd just stayed in those games and nicked a point in 2 of them, say, we could have been level with Spurs at this point. In the same breath, our draws against Burnley and Liverpool are currently the difference between 5th and 8th.

If we manage to avoid the changeable form the likes of Villa and Leicester have succumbed to and turn defeats into draws by taking a more calm approach to games, I think it could be pretty beneficial.

Yeah, I don’t think a draw is the end of the world today.

We should be aiming for 4 points from the next two games.

Im the opposite as im convinced Sheff Utd will get something against us especially on a boxing day away evening match under the floodlights.

If we win today takes the pressure off a very Everton type game next weekend with them without a win and ex Kopite Brewster yet to find the back of the net.

Agreed, I would have been happy with 6 points in our next 3 matches before the Chelsea game due to our previous form, Winning this would be huge though it would put us right up there after everyone questioned us through that bad patch and it would show how far Ancelotti has taken us because we usually give into the pressure when we're hot favorites for a game and we can make moves in the table.

You've mellowed GB. Not like you to be pos-...

This game has proper ‘Everton, that’ vibes to it. Arsenal in terrible form and Everton with the chance to go second.

I think we all know what happens next.

... oh.

A win would be a huge step in the right direction and a bonus really. It'd be a nice way to differentiate ourselves from the Villas and even Leicesters of the world who seem to regularly follow up a couple of great results with a shockingly bad one.

I think just being steady and avoiding abysmal losses might be enough to stay in the top 6 quite comfortably this season (though I'll admit everyone trying to predict this season has been made to look stupid so far). For me, that's pretty much all Spurs have done to be 2nd: win a lot of games, but crucially draw rather than lose the others.

I think if we get 4 points from these two league games, the signs are good.
