I think you lot need to focus on securing a place in the top 4 rather than worry about what lowly Arsenal are doing.

I agree, your own team is all that matters but no matter how much bigger or how much successful your main rivals are, it's fun watching when they have a bad spell.

I feel like we always struggle to beat these whether we're in form or Arsenal are out of form, I hope we can get the 3 points here, They are really really bad this year.

Whats wrong with scoring from set pieces? A goals a goal. To get those set pieces we have to be up and attacking around the box.
There isn't anything wrong with it by itself but football has been played a long time and most good teams have scored a majority of their goals from open play. Set pieces are a nice bonus. It can't be our only shot.

Gotta win to maintain momentum. Think this might be a low scoring game with Arsenal having 60-70% of the possession but doing nothing with it. Won’t be surprised with a 0-0

This is one of those...
If we've changed finally, we win, we don't let a team which is already down and in chaos have a chance against us. We push them down, play on their fears and on their lack of confidence.
But, it's Everton, that, to help Arsenal rehabilitate, and this is he match where they find their mojo and bounce back. idk

How far off is Coleman? Don't really see the need to rush him back, but would be good to get him back in the coming games.

I can see Gomes coming in for Allan being the only change. James Rodríguez to come on with 30 minutes left and spank one in the top corner.

3-1 to the good looking guys.
Sounded like coleman could have been ok for last night, but carlo didnt want to take a chance with him, so could be back for this

If Coleman is fit he starts and move Holgate to take Allans place. Nothing is ideal with him out but that would be the best option imo, above Davies or Gomes in the side.

AM new so i know litle about Everton fans and their football taste, but i can recognize this trend about "keeping a low block and counter attacking" among a Lot of the fans ....

That kind of football won't take You far , AM glad about the recent victories , but in the long run it is not sustainable , too many things can go wrong when You defend that close to your goal . Carlo knows it and his teams were never counter attack teams . Hes done it cuz he had no choice (having 3 creative players down : James/ Coleman/digne).

Having said that , those 3 NEED to comeback and keep developing the Everton from the first 7 matches , one who relies in attacking rsther than counter attacking.

Everton is not build as a fast counter team , your only 2 players for that are god awful finishing attacks (richarlisson and iwobi) and your actual "killer" is a last touch scorer who can't dribble past any 1 and his shooting abilty is horrible (Zero goals from outiside the box), dcl is great but he can't counter.

Take the wins but demand more from your players , stop thinking like a small team. Even atlético de Madrid (once the Best counter attack teams) steps on the front foot more often than not (Even vs barsa or Madrid)
Oh hello there new frandel.

A repeat of the performance under Martinez when we bossed them 3-0 would be nice.

We'll probably see some rotation ahead of the United game midweek.. expecting a few scratching their head when the teamsheet is released.

Arsenal smashed us and ended our Koeman nightmare, let’s hope we can repay the favour on Saturday by seeing off Arteta.

Haven't had a good season but he hasn't done that bad imo

Won the fa cup beating some good teams in doing so, poor recruitment is a massive part of the problem at arsenal
