I don't totally agree. Arsenal stay compact and we may need to break them down from open play. We didn't do that the last two despite winning.

I think we can keep them out, but without James I think 0-0 is very in play.
Have to agree. despite their position, they've conceded fewer goals than us.

Funny to imagine but we might see one of the old sky 4 teams rock up at Goodison looking for a draw.

They've clearly got some good players though and even the likes of Pepe have always got a worldie in them. So I am wary of taking this for granted.

Cant see Arsenal being happy with a draw here, one point doesn't do much for them other than send them further adrift of top half (never mind top 6).

I can see it being cagey to start but as long as they dont score first we will pick them apart. 2-0 for the mighty blooooes

Decent team mate. A couple of questions though:

1-Why break up the back 4?
2- If you do, surely a case for Holgate in midfield?

I think the two previous wins have rested primarily on getting early goals that can then be defended. I don't think we should keep banking on that every match.

I also think we will have more of the ball in this match, with it being a night match at Goodison in front of fans, against an Arsenal team who must be low on confidence and don't score many.

So Coleman, who is fresh and our Captain, comes in to get forward a bit more. And James comes in for Sigurdsson simply as he is our most talented player and Arsenal don't actually concede many.

Doucoure we task with shielding the back four and Gomes to try and pull some strings with James.

Steady as she goes, if it ain't broke don't fix it...especially by trying to be a smartarse, cleverclogs tinkerer...if one man is injured, replace as best you can that one man, don't bugger up 2 positions by moving somebody else to cover the injured player.
2 Wins and 2 Cleansheets = no desperate rush. If fit Coleman and Rodriguez as subs.
