Branthwaite looks like he could have a future with us but all being said he wasn't motm. Promising but wouldn't give him the honour of motm for showing promise. Keane for me...another solid performance. Looks like he is out of his rut well and truly

Agree with all of that ...I've gone Keane as well .... but picking a MOTM out of this lot lately is like choosing which finger or toe you want amputated ! Shocking levels of ability / effort on display.

I went for Digne, yet again, for MoM. DCL and Richie look knacked, Keane was solid again, Branthwaite looks calm and assured much like Holgate. On the whole the people who will be most disappointed, apart from Villa, are all the posters on here who predicted a heavy home defeat for us.

No one has done anything to suggest they should be ahead of Kean. In the last few meaningless games there will be no pressure on Gordon. He has already played in the most pressurised game.
Ah well let's see how this goes. We're very predictable though

richy and DCL definitely have done more.

with Gordon it’s still pressure to him and it’s just about his development. He’s getting plenty of exposure which is great. It’s a big ask of a young lad to come in and be the creator when theteam is so poor and low on confidence. In a winning side who are playing well it’s easier to give him full minutes and bed in you know. Almost less risk.
But he is developing well! A summer ahead and some better players around him we may see quite a player.

Tom Toffeegirl Davies need’nt worry about this the Tortoise

Missed the second half basically. How did Braithwaite do? Looked very good first half, composed, winning his aerial battles, keeping with his man. Didn’t shy at passing through a small space.

Yeh me too. Has got his focus back...

I'd play DCL, Richarlison and Kean together. Richarlison on the wing and Gordon the other wing. Gordon looks a talent for sure and reading his interviews he seems level headed and mature. The way he comes across I don't think it would have any bearing on him.
As you say the transfer window is upon us and a couple of decent players in will help.
It's been an awful season, but there have been a few positives. Holgate is the main one, but DCL too along with Gordon. I was impressed with Branthwaite tonight he settled in very well and is very comfortable on the ball.

Voted Sigge because it's the only way I can demonstrate what an absolutely dog poo performance that was... Again

I couldn’t take our biggest threat out of the attack though. I get the point though.
With Gordon he has been working hard for 12+ years to get to this point so he will be nervous. I think he is being handled well. Benefit of the season being over is his development could be prioritised over being ‘desperate’ for a result if you get me.
A season in the championship could do Braithwaite the world of good. Looks very confident.

Just in.. how bad was it from 1 to 10, 1 being losing to Liverpool's youths in the fa cup and 10 being Munich in the cup winners cup semi?
