Actually, it's more to do with local fighter Chris Billam-Smith having a world title bout at Dean Court on Saturday night and the club assuming, with us safe, a lot of fans would want to go to that and wouldn't do both. Not sure why they thought that as plenty were unhappy about it and couldn't get tickets but that's how it goes.

But given it’s a dead rubber for them, 6 hours on a coach and they probably only have a core of about 20,000 fans, I just don’t expect them to ever sell out Goodison unless they absolutely have to.

Ground holds 12,000, to sell the full allocation it’s 25% of their stadium, as good as our fans are, there’s no way we’re selling 10,000 for every game.

Quicker they’re out the league the better, but fair play, they’ve earned their right this season. Done a good job, Gary O’Neil.

Unlike many clubs, we announce the number of people that actually turn up rather than the number of tickets sold. Home tickets are really tough to get if you aren't someone that has built up home points. We could easily sell a lot more. Not Everton style numbers, sure, but still a lot more.

That’s great but you do have a capacity of about 11k with no other big teams around geographically

I like Bournemouth though so I’m just being pedantic, much happier seeing Southampton going down than you, their fans were grim
