I have quite an irrational hatred of Bournemouth. Ever since I was sat in the lower bullens with my kids a few years back when they'd just come up and had a few grown away fans swearing at us all game a few feet away. It was a mad game with loads of goals and we won 5-2 or 6-2 or something like that. I just stood there thinking "f off nigel from accounts I really couldn't give a flying one about your nothing club"

Watched this during lockdown when it was dropped and would prefer to watch it again at 3pm rather than the present day mob.

Dhyche chancing his luck here, what does Young have to do to be dropped ? Trapping the ball on the goal line then hitting against the on coming forward - Schoolboy football, you don't do that .. FGS .... - both he & Gana should be on the bench, fgs ....

it's a big risk IMO _ rumoured Rooney is on his way as Manager may be true .....

Bench has some options

Sound then we’ll just play like we did against Luton and not lay a finger on them because Charlie hates people who aren’t catholic

Reported.

Pack it in with the religious stuff. I couldn't care less what church if any Patterson goes to. I just want a defender that can defend and I won't be bullied into submission pretending the lad has talent to justify his huge transfer fee.

Gana and Young may be more disciplined than Patterson and Onana, but they both make us worse in possession imo. I hope we start with furious tempo and keep Bournemouth on the back foot, but I don’t see us controlling the game in the way we could. Our best performance, away at Villa, had both Patterson and Onana in the lineup, although it did also include Keane, and I’m not saying he should start! Scrappy 1-0 will do, and for some reason I think we’ll get that, but they need to fight for everything. COYB

Hope McNeil and Harrison are on point today with fitness and such. If they play the majority of the game moving inward into midfield, we may churn out a decent performance. But, Ouattara - Young match - up is a bit worrying (Hope he switches with Garner if it becomes too much). COYB
