To be fair, Doucoure had a little better passing, but terrible decision-making during attacks. That garner chance across the box is something a second striker should take. And was pleasantly surprised by Mykolenko's improvement in passing and development as an inverted fullback.

Good performance, Pickford in goal, Tarks and Branthwaite at the back, Garner and Onana in the middle, DCL upfront is a good spine of a team. Good to see McNeil begin to find form again. And it was interesting to see Chermiti on for Doucoure, as I still believe that there needs competition for that no 10 role.
The only real gripe was the defending from set pieces again.

Nah, not having that. Short in areas but this is the strongest squad we've had in years and he is totally misusing it and making hard work of the season.

Went with Onana, because I thought he controlled midfield, allowing Garner some freedom to be progressive. Close with DCL who had his best game in a very long time.
Actual team performance though, CBs looked calm too.

Chermiti to me in his very sporadic appearances doesn't in any way look like he'll ever have a career in England.

Same applies to Beto, looks absolutely appalling.

It’s hard to imagine it’s going to take 40 points to stay up this year. The bottom of the league is absolutely woeful. It might not be inconceivable that someone stays up with 30.

Great result! Great to see us continue to attack, even when we don’t have to. On another day we’d have scored 6
