The thing with a new manager is that every player starts with a 'clean sheet' , no matter how much a person thinks 'they're crap'.

Yesterday, it was hard to find a performance from any of our players that was rubbish. Long may it continue.

Fabulous atmosphere yesterday. Frank's all-round demeanour just so different to the Fatman, it transmitted to the fans and it felt great. Glad that we got the result without the Lampard signings as well, showed Benitez what was possible with the exact same players he managed 5 points from 39 (?) with and got us the best result of the whole season. Delighted to be in the next round of the cup but kind of wish it was three points. Didn't feel like a one-off such was the overall feel of it. UTFT!

Just been watching the whole match again. Gomes was superb as was Gray. Gordon has so much talent and gets better with every game. Mykolenko was excellent at both ends of the pitch. After this, Frank will have a big call to get the new lads in…..

Watching the extended highlights - Gordon and Gomes play a big part in the first goal too. Gordon blocks off the keeper and Andre shepards off another defender giving Mina only 1 player to beat to the ball. They both had a great game.

I watched it twice too. Well, its a public holiday here and the weather is crap.

On reflection it was good to see our midfield 2 picking up the ball in midfield. Under RB it was frustrating to see them dropping to a full back position to get the ball and have no one ahead of them to pass it too.

The results won't always be what we want but at least we will be watching some proper football.

Great performance from the whole team. Cenk Tosun even managed to contribute with a nice ball in to Iwobi for him to flick on to Andros for the 4th. Confidence boosts all round!
