The defensive structure part is tough with that midfield. It's still his fault for picking it obviously.

How can you be playing Coleman left back when you have a left back available?

Why would you play 3 at the back but not assign any of them to actually mark anyone in particular?

Why would you continue to let your midfield 2 be massively overrun and not change it?

Disgraceful management the players haven't got a clue what they're doing here.

He needs to get take Kenny off, move Coleman over, bring Digne on. Take any of the centre halves off and either bring on anther midfield body like Onyango or Gbamin or get Dobbin on and put him up top with DCL

Rafael. Gotta put your pride aside and switch this system ASAP. 4 at the back with Digne on and get another bod in midfield probably Gomes or something. Bissouma, Lallana & Co are running tings.

Strong argument that Branthwaite should be playing over Godfrey and Holgate

Dreadful first half performance.

• Coleman playing at LWB is baffling.

• Doucoure & Allan being completely overrun in the midfield.

• Another goal conceded from a corner.

• Kenny showing us why he’s only played once all season; severely lacking in quality.

• Defenders run ragged when Brighton run at us or take shots; no tackling, no blocks and not getting close enough (Godfrey, Keane & Holgate).

• DCL very quiet without any real service up to him. Poor penalty.

• Gordon has put a big shift in but almost looks like he’s trying to do too much himself.

• Gray the brightest spark but again not producing anything of real note.

Keane, Holgate, Kenny and Coleman all need to be replaced immediately. None of them PL standard. 1 CB and 2 RB’s adequate replacement. A priority of any rebuild but a very significant effort.

This is the foundation of any rebuild IMO. And god knows what the LB we just spent almost 20m on is like.

And that is just the defence rebuild.

Bambi taking pens has always been a bad idea! Plus playing 5 at the back with Coleman on the wrong side .... Crazy stuff. Holgate , Keane and Godfrey have a competition of who is the most useless!

He's taken 3 this season and scored 2. What are you on about? Who else in this side takes a pen today?

Really weird thing to pick out. It was a bad miss. Players who have been out for 4 months are going to take time to come back to sharpness but no excuse, bad miss.

Beyond being annoyed...i went past that stage a month ago.

Its just comical at this point.

I honestly don’t even get annoyed we conceded. In fact, I wasn’t even buzzed when we got a penalty.

Just pure nothing with this team.
