I'll be happy if we play 4-4-2 , I'll never get the player selection I want but a decent system that plays to the strengths of those selected helps. I watched a semi-professional game yesterday and my team switched to a single striker and were hopeless at 0-0 first half, switched back to 442 2nd half and won 5-0 . A completely different level I know , though some of the defending was familiar, just think if you've got two on form strikers play them that way , then switch for the last 30 mins if not working.

If we win lose or draw this game, at the end of the day he's dropped Kenny from the squad, Holgate/Davies from the team and kept lookman on the bench whilst keeping in Williams and Schneiderlin and starting Cuco.

Hes got to go.
I agree it should be Kenny, Holgate and Davies in for Martina, Williams and Schneiderlin. I would play Niasse though and Vlasic has looked good the minutes he's had as has DCL obviously.

I suppose Vlasic could play as number 10 instead of Siggy and have Lookman on the wing.

Siguurdson thrived off the left last season when he had a big front man in Llorente to hit

..but he played close to him, Tim. It wasn't as though he played wide left. Look at the goals he scored getting centrally beyond Llorente, like the one at the Reds. I feel in our team he has to play wide because the likes of Rooney is taking the central position.

Nice to see that Sky are still keeping things professional fair and unbiased with 2 Red noses in the studio for an Everton game. Dimwits

COYB's. Niasse hatrick today.....i hope. :)

You want to like the line up....then you see his name in the starting XI and JonJoe not even on the bench.

Plus Schneiderlin and Gana together again at home to a team which will probably park the bus
Think JJ had a pretty poor game on Thursday, along with many others, just hope it's a gradual introduction to the Prem for him as I believe he could be our right back for years to come.

I don't know why but ex-kopites seem to outnumber all other clubs combined when it comes to punditry.
