Digne has been awful, so have his corners, looks tentative and drained of confidence, but has to stay on as there is no replacement, hook Keane and bring Rondon on an go 4-4 'kin 2, maybe Townsend for Iwobi and have a go.

So, according to Hinchcliffe, Burnley should have scored from a header by Wood (to score a header you actually have to hit the ball with your head), from a shot by Brownbill (you don't score by passing the ball straight to the keeper) and should have had a penalty (no, me neither). He really doesn't like us does he.

Knew we would struggle tonight. We have nobody with any quality on the ball to bring on to help change things with the build up. Can’t see any choice but to introduce Rondon

Neutral fans must have switched over half an hour ago. Two terrible teams. I thought Leeds were terrible last night so we are in good company. If Rafael turns this round he deserves a double gin and tonic.

Yeah its fairly agricultural stuff so far. McNeil would've been a good signing - only bit of quality they've got.

Digne not in the game, Allan and Doucoure over run in midfield. Keane getting caught with his eyes in the headlights.

Gray has been very lively but not combining with Richy really at all.

Burnely will knick one and defend all day if it stays like this.

Anyway let's hope for better in the second half.

But almost like maybe that Huddersfield game wasn't just bad because we had a second string out, maybe it's because we have nobody capable of getting on the ball when the onus is on us to control possession?

No room for James on the bench though, ey.

And the anesthetic is now fully worn off so I'm just in agony. Cheers FSW
This is actually perfect for us in theory. We're playing the team most likely to make us control the game and we're still set up to play on the break which we have to do. The problem is we have one forward who can't hold the ball up and one winger who is the slowest player on the field. Iwobi for Townsend and/or Rondon for a CB and this game is there for us.

First half reflection:
• Burnley pressing high against us very well, knowing that we only have two in the midfield and no out ball in DCL; Richarlison struggling to win it against their centre halves.

• Got into good positions a few times but final ball and lack of numbers in the box has been an issue.

• Need more from Digne at wing back.

• Weathered the storm and held it at 0-0 rather than capitulating; make changes to the shape now for the second half.
