it was interesting watching Kompany's interview on MOTD. he seems to think Burnley were great and we were rubbish. Im not sure if he actually believes that or he is just putting a brave face on it for the press. He cannot honestly believe that. Yes they had the possession, but what did they do with it? 6 attempts on goal, one on target (a header straight at Pickford).

I can never understand teams playing it from the back when they are unable to keep possession and get caught out, just as we used to under Martinez.

No they didn’t …. Relying on something means they are hoping/expecting on it to win games .
They actually try to win games where as we try not to lose them and hope/rely on other teams gifting us goals or scraping in a goal from a corner
