I'd like to see a bit of experimentation in the line-up, nothing over drastic but we've looked a bit predictable and let be honest, we've not a lot to lose now.

1-0 Howard to get sent off and concede a penno. Joel to come on, save the pen and score the winner with a long punt upfield, right in the top corner without bouncing. He will also grow some fingers and catch everything else that comes his way
Now you are being silly

They're only bringing 2250 of their 3000 allocation tomorrow.

Loads of empty seats in the away end, again.

So to this Vince Alm character what is so shocking? That fans would rather attend a potential win/competitive game against West Brom v. a game against us that isn't impossible to win by any stretch (especially given our poorer form of late) but will probably be less competitive from their perspective? Seems fairly rational to me.

Today I'm going to be watching players performances more closely. This is a game at home we should win comfortably and it's a game that we should see our footballing style in the best possible way. If we can't do it against Cardiff I don't know what the answer is.

This game could either allow us to do that or it could be a game were we start slowly building from the back and have no attacking intent in the final third. These are crap we should win comfortably.

The problem is not intent, saying that makes it sound like they dont want to attack or the tactics arent set up to attack. The problem is ability and consistency of our attacking options, pure and simple IMO

Howard
Coleman Stones Distin Baines
McCarthy Barry Barkley
McGeady Lukaku Mirallas

I'd love us to line up like this! We shouldn't need 2 defensive midfielders against Cardiff, Mcgeady deserves a go in my opinion and Mirallas will produce more than Pienaar on the left. We should be trying things out rather than sticking with a formula that doesn't work.
