Nervy ending to what was am overall deserved win for me,despite not been at out brilliant best,Lookman should have scored then Tosun after Lookman set it up

They had one as far as I remember. It was a decent long shot from Camarasa.

A win is a win. We didn't get a 3 points against Huddersfield which are IMO worse than Cardiff so no complaints really.
Huddersfield are a plague tbh. Never an easy game against a Warnock side so I think we did alright

Scrappy game, was pretty ugly to watch, but encouraging to see that this set of players have a backbone, unlike recent seasons.

Keane again superb. Gomes probably MOTM. Lookman's control is incredible, I wish the same could be said for Richarlison.

...that’s a reality check that we’re not Real Madrid. Actually couldn’t have complaimed had Cardiff got something but it’s a fine win.

I think we struggle against organised teams who defend deep because there’s little or no space to exploit. I’m convinced we need a top drawer CF if we are to progress. Richarlison might be the best we have but he’s more effective with him facing defenders.

22 points is very decent at this point.

Just about deserved the victory. Cardiff could easily have had a penalty and we never looked like adding a second goal. In fairness, we couldn't have argued with a draw because our passing was all over the place today - lost count of the number of wayward Hollywood passes that were attempted when a simple roll along the floor was on.

Our front three were very poor imo and I'd take Bernard out for Lookman against the Chite.

Sigurdsson has a knack of being in the right place at the right time this season and long may it continue.

Back four were solid and Cardiff never threatened at all the entire game, just the one real save from Pickford from that second half long range attempt.

Massive improvement needed next week or they'll embarrass us once again.

That said, three points and we're now above United in the league. Huge month December though.

Definitely should have been 3-0, but hard fought 1-0 wins are underrated. Some days you re just off and you need your defence to bail you out and stand strong. Dont look now but thats 2 straight clean sheets. Thats also only 3 goals allowed in the last 5 including games against Man U and Chelsea, and one was a bogus penalty. THAT kind of defensive work will really make or break getting into the top 5-6.

Dont look now, but we are now 6th on the table and within striking distance of Arsenal.

Again, this is ridiculous we are clinging to a 1-0 victory against the probable bottom team at the end of the year.

Didn't Man City lose to Derby? They won the game against a team that had every intention of putting all 10 in their own box in a 0-0 game. Wasting time in the first half. They wanted an ugly game. Winning 1-0 against a crap team like that is fine.

They struggled to finish well. That has to improve, but it has generally been better than today. I'm not getting upset over today. That's being short sighted in my opinion. They actually look decent, I know how that usually turns out though lol
