Hopefully Duncan can get the players fired up for this one today. We need to stop the rot. This might sound negative, but even a point is a start.
By the way, on listening to Fergusons response yesterday to being asked how the players felt about the announcement of Silva's sacking, he said... "it was a mixed reaction". If they loved Silva you would have thought they'd have been gutted and by that I mean the majority of the 'playing' squad. I fear the Silva signings are sorry to see him go. The others? I'm not so sure.

Next manager has a big job to bring this shower together for the cause.

Is this another one of your 'only kidding' jokes?

A touch of that yes. But I know Evertonians don’t want him in regardless. I myself would like to see a serious very good manager in but if he starts changing it up and wins a game or two... well maybe tell but is in a better position to attract a better manager. Or maybe the Duncan shouts will emerge. Could be a catch 22

He will know what the fans want I think and start kean up top. Maybe with dcl though.
He will also know we need to start the game with a bit of passion and get the crowd up.
Last home game against Norwich we went backwards from the start and deflated the whole ground.
We will get something out of this.
They have a very important champions league game on Tuesday also.

I would play a 442 but a cautious version with direct play to 2 strikers, and two banks of 4.

Lossl
Sidibe Holgate Mina Digne
Walcott Davies Schneiderlein Bernard
Kean Richarlison

Something like that.

I obviously don't want to have to play Morgan either but there's no one else. And Iwobi doesn't fit that shape which needs hard work tracking back.

controversial perhaps but I actually thought Schneids played ok off the bench the last couple - perhaps midfield diamond with him at the base and Iwobi at the tip (ie. drop Davies)?

Things to watch out for today. Out of possession: aimless charging about and arm-waving at teammates; large gaping holes in defence from the slightest bit of good movement. In possession: hot potato football and lots of chips into the channel. I just hope Duncan recognises this and picks a team accordingly.

Sorry to be negative, but I see it as just realistic.
