They'll have spotted that he's susceptible to long shots.
2 gone in in the last couple of games.
He's also susceptible to short shots, weak shots, crosses, making a pig's ear of things with the ball at his feet, and sprinting out of goal in random directions (except for the times when he should be coming out). Apart from those minor issues, excellent!

- the sprinting out of goal in random directions is spot on

tbf to Pickford one of the things he is good as is short reaction stops/saves - his problems usually comes when he has to start thinking...

Don’t think anybody could be confident going into this one. Impossible to predict even vaguely what formation, game plan and personnel it’ll be today. As long as selection is so inconsistent, it’ll be tough.

Really hope we don’t see a back three again but who knows.

Noticed from the training videos that Thierry Small is featuring prominently...Carlo to spring a surprise at left back and throw him in? Seems to be something about Niels that he’s not sure about yet.

You could write up the post match before the game starts tbh. Everton start slow and invite pressure straight away. Poor incompetent passing leads to conceding a poorly defended goal. Then the heads go down and true to the Everton way there are no leaders, no urgency and comically trying to play out from the back with mostly backwards, sideways and misplaced passing which leads to more mistakes and conceding more goals. At some point in the second half we will have a 10 minute spell were we do a bit better just to give us hope but then that hope is quickly taken away as we bring on the holographic Icelander (unless he starts, outcome is the same) who will make no tackles whatsoever and miss any and all chances on goal. Then on Monday the rally calls will appear on social media from the usual suspects saying we must do better.

Just watch Strictly lads. Better than watching repeats. ;)
