Think you need to get a grip mate. This is the best chance we’ve had to ever crack top 4 or Europe in general. Our constant bottling of golden chances to solidify our position is criminal. Too many of these ‘not our days’. DCL and Richy missed too many glaring chances. People deserve to be fuming and it’s not an overreaction, not the first or even second or even third time this has happened at home. Bed.

Really depends on what you want everton to achieve. Top 10 is where we are heading. Missed chances ok. But work rate and winning mentality that real 100% commitment is not there and evertonians have a right to be unhappy with that. Its yet another missed opportunity for us to progress and we failed yet again.

It's not today's result that many are unhappy with. It's the accumulation of similar performances and results and missed opportunities

We just don't have the quality. We're not at the top table yet so where we are is reflective of that.

DCL doesnt appear to have that natural scoring instinct when one on one with ball on the floor - he kind of hits it where he thinks he is supposed to, but never adjusts last second to chip it, dance around keeper or slot it according to the situation. It's very prescribed with him and it often just hits the keeper.

He'd be awesome if had that, but not sure how you teach those qualities.

We were much better today than in some other home games recently, we should have won convincingly had we taken our chances. It's very worrying that James is the only bit of creativity we have though. We.really are short on class at the moment, as soon as James is not on the pitch

Go and wipe your fanny. Yes it’s another missed opportunity but we’ve been smashed with injuries all season. We have no pace in the middle as a result. We made good chances today where usually we haven’t created anything all game. As I said another day we win 3-1.

If he really, really did have to take James off when he did, then you don’t lob Gbamin on.
You put King on and give Palace at least ‘something’ (as in, a bit of pace) to worry about going the other way.

Can't control a game well enough , toi defensive and sit in too deep and invite pressure and can't put team's away at home. Yes we have had injuries particularly in midfield but if you can't beat team's at home we aren't getting Europe sadly. Players are bottlers too everytime we get a sniff they crumble.oh well

One win in the last seven home league games,means we are not good enough, most of those games have been against mediocre teams, we have a poor squad, can’t be denied, but Carlo gets a lot of points away from home, why does he seem to manage so poorly at home, with mainly the same players?

Their keeper kept them in the game first half. I went for Tom Davies as MoM and thought Coleman was excellent until he inevitably tired.

Predictable game from Kevin (I'm not Everton's) Friend, letting Palace off with a few bad challenges (Ward's chop to Digne's neck for example) while penalising every challenge an Everton player made.

Thought Coleman played well but Tom was awful not up to it at this level,some of the balls he gave away would have been punished by better teams
Gomes was worst btw.Got to get shut of both in the summer we'll be lucky to get £10 mill for the pair
Midfield is our biggest problem
