the bones in my hand would crumble to dust before I tired of punching that Rylan in the grid.Just seen that Cinch advert at the break and thought Gomes was still on, but we are safe it was that Rylan bloke.

Dreadful bad. Can’t squander chance after chance like that. Sick of these performances. Smacks of complacency. Surely you become a professional athlete because you’re quite keen to win?
Again I’m not sure what his reasoning or plans were. Perhaps Gomes going off early on in the game was also a spanner in his works? He could have planned on putting Sigurdsson on later on for James? I don’t know.
He's paid £9m a year mate. It's his job to make those calls and get them right.
He's got a lot wrong lately.
Its not his fault our 2 forwards missed at least 4 clear cut chances. Its not his fault that Godfrey was nowhere near in position to defend a simple channel ball for their equaliser. Its not his fault that our midfielders can't stay fit for 2 games in a row. Its not his fault that the squad is full of deadwood from previous managers. Its not his fault that the DOF hasn't signed a right back in 3 years. Its not his fault that this whole club is steeped in a losing mentality. Its not his fault that this club was allowed to become an irrelevance over the last 25 years.
This club needs enormous improvements in so many areas. Only over a longer period can any manager try to resolve the problems. If we look at it today, there are individual errors galore. If players can't take simple chances at this level then we will have problems. To have that many 1 v 1s and no score is criminal and the players involved should take full responsibility and make sure they are better next week.
The frustration is that this season was a huge chance to propel ourselves forward and accelerate our progression. We've managed to blow the opportunity with some utterly woeful home results. The players need to have a look at themselves and ask why they failed to perform so many times. Next year is now going to be an extremely hard year and we need to be ruthless with our squad. If they haven't performed they need to be replaced. There needs to be zero room for sentimentality and zero room for performances like Newcastle or Fulham. You can lose games of course but those two stand out as truly unacceptable performances.

If you thought that performance was good your standards must have dropped depressingly low. It was dire, drab, littered with mistakes and all told a very, very forgettable night (again) at Goodison.Good thing I said the performance was good and not the result then
Mate, any other manager gets the results we have at home, playing the way we have in those games, and there'd be outcry.
Have to get away from just blaming the players or just blaming the manager. They're all at fault, and Brands.
We set up 5-4-1 for the last 15 at home to Palace mate. That's on Carlo.
But, we should have put our chances away, I know that.
But the squad keeps getting changed and changed. We cant keep blaming managers while we see so many errors by players. If Ancelotti can't fix us then we are finished as a club.
I didnt like the Coleman sub at all, but Godfrey could have played much better too. He's capable of far better than he produced.
I saw good players make big errors in front of goal and in defence. Richarlison and Dom need to be better than that and they will know that. Godfrey needs to just drop off into our shape but for some reason pushed out of defence.
These are good players. Why are they making such basic errors. At some point we need to stop making excuses for constant mistakes.
The thing that summed us up today was when Richarlisons shot was saved in the 89th minute and came out to the 6 yard line for a possible tap in rebound. Did anyone bust a gut and gamble...... no.
We need to want it more than we do. Ashley Cole hit the nail on the head the other week. We dont play like a team who really want to move up the ladder.
He doesn't trust them seems to be the only explanation for the negative tactics also as I said the players are bottlers when the pressure is on we never step up. We never take the opportunity to push on.One win in the last seven home league games, means we are not good enough, most of those games have been against mediocre teams, we have a poor squad, can’t be denied, but Carlo gets a lot of points away from home, why does he seem to manage so poorly at home, with mainly the same players?
Have to agree with @ToffeeTim here....and I hate to think it but I definitely see a drop off in work rate from DCL since he’s become lauded as our ‘main man’ and ‘Harry Kane back-up’ for the National side. Seems like he’s fully believing the hype and considering he’s made it.Nonsense.
He may not good at finishing but to question his effort...
We created more than enough chances to win and mostly from open play. We haven't done that in beards so maybe the standards are a bit down but from that standpoint it was pretty close to what we need.If you thought that performance was good your standards must have dropped depressingly low. It was dire, drab, littered with mistakes and all told a very, very forgettable night (again) at Goodison.
