I am still made up about that result: I genuinely have existential connection with Everton Football Club. They rank equally with The All Blacks and the Black Caps...and mighty Counties (from South Auckland) in my sporting affections. When I lived in London, I never missed a game of Everton's....and we're talking mid 80s here. And all my children support them too...
