@matty1878 I hope you're feeling better mate. I imagine we all woke up this morning, any hangovers aside, feeling like the weight of the world has been lifted off our shoulders.

Enjoy the summer now bud, switch off from Everton for a month or so. It'll do you a world of good.

i sure am mate thankyou for all yours and everyone’s support

Im like a new man today, would've been an absolute misery if we'd lost last night.

I feel completely spent, just got nothing left in the tank today. Was up until 3am, slept on the couch until about 6, an hour in bed then the kids up for school.

Couldn't get a word out for a couple of hours, just sat there crying and couldn't stop. All the months of stress just rushing out.

I pretend I'm not arsed, I say this is it and I don't care anymore but the reality is I love Everton so much that it hurts to see us in the state we are in.

I don't think my emotions will balance themselves out for a couple of days either, the sheer relief is just too overwhelming to just settle down as if nothing ever happened.

I love Everton.

Nail on head! I broke down when I saw my wife, this out pouring of pent up stress that had been in the back of my mind the entire time and actually getting worse day by day as we failed to beat crap teams and others kepts winning. Coupled with inuries, VAR and bad luck, it has been a torrid time (not even mentioning all my RS mates).

Now, it is all gone, I am looking forward to next season soooo much, it can never be as bad as this and I really feel there is a new dawn approaching.

Stupid efffing game

You have never fooled me, I know how much you love this Club and I can only imagine how stressful this season and the past few games have been for you and for many others here. So this weekend is the time for much deserved relaxation time. The days ahead we can worry again about what next season will bring, but until then enjoy the glorious feeling of salvation. Xxx
