Iwobi is doing a decent job linking things on the left going forward but that midfield has more empty space than the centre of Australia.

Hope I’m wrong about the lad, but that moment summed Gordon up for me. Arrived in the box not quite at the right time. Ball just a bit behind him. Didn’t quite get enough on the ball to get control or make a chance.

It’s always ‘almost but not quite’ with him.
