Dire? We popped the ball around well and created a few chances. Thought we were decent. Kyiv are a champions league side and whilst they had chances they didn't batter us.

I'd like to see McNeil given at least half an hour here. Gray/Gordon not done enough with the ball in promising areas.

Need midfielders in stat but we knew that. Iwobi probably our best CM right now which is nice that he’s playing well but also just means we need multiple capable of starting. Real CMs not Barkley. If we get Gana then the other CM needs to be a really good forward passer.

I'm not aware of who is, or isnt their strongest team. But they are not bad, probably like bottom 6 of the PL level. We are ahead, and played some nice stuff, but we do look a bit short in fitness.

The issue with that is also the fact that Iwobi isn't really a CM to begin with - that's how dire our CM situation is lol
