I thought Fulham deserved it on balance, to be honest.

They played the game they needed to play.

Not that we shouldn’t have seized it on that fifth penalty, but there you go.
Yeah, I'm very disappointed - we had it at our mercy when Onana stepped up - but I'm probably more disappointed with the overall performance. We missed a wonderful opportunity and I fear a hangover. I don't blame the players - they kept fighting - but I think we could have really done with a semi to look forward to. Instead, it'll have to be more Viagra in the league and hope that Luton keep losing for a few games as we possibly will.

What an opportunity squandered.

People shouting that it's unimportant in the context of Spurs make me sad

We’re easily bad enough to get done by spurs away from home anyway. It Fulham draw Boro in the semis we’ll all be sick.

Onana needs to have a hard look at himself, I don’t care if he plays well in the next league game, come the big moment he’s let the club and the fanbase down massively and he’s supposedly the marquee player we’ve built our side around. Not good enough, he’s got a lot of making up to do for the fans now. Mirallas never really recovered and he had a lot more credit in the bank than Onana with the fanbase.

We'll win a trophy again in the next few years (you can vault me on that) but for now I'm looking at the silver linings:

No injuries, no chance of being cheated by one of the Sly6 in the semi's, full focus on moving on up and keeping the pressure on the PL for their corruption & incompetence.

UTFT!
Yea it's best to avoid semis and finals in case we play one of the sly6
Fantastic logic that ffs
Is this what we are now? Happy to be also rans
The no injuries and keeping pressure on PL happen regardless of winning/losing tonight
No silver linings in this

Genuinely relieved seeing the other results there that Newcastle are out as well. Hate them blood money worshiping scum, would do my head in to see that small club win anything to be honest because you’d never hear the end of it. Best case scenario now is Chelsea go on to win it and it’s inoffensive to everyone.

Disappointed to be out and we’ve only ourselves to blame really. It’s a shame but look Dyche probably is a manager that a cup competition suits so maybe there’ll be more chances down the line.
