The longer the game goes without us winning, the more chance we have of losing. Some of our players will be very tired from the last game. Need to rotate some fresh legs in and bring off our better players as soon as Carlo feels we can see it out.

I think it highlights what we'd likely to be capable of if our squad actually possessed some extra strength in depth. Carlo is getting blood out of a stone.
Not sure blood out of a stone is quite right. We know the players had the quality in there. It's just been a case of bringing it to the surface. The likes of Davies and Iwobi are still developing, but players like Siggy, Bernard and Gomes have shown in the past for us the quality they possess.

Didn't Iwobi have a great game against this lot last time out; first glimpse there might actually be a player in there.

He did, but I say we just stick with players until they go off the boil. Iwobi's levels have dropped a bit last few games, whereas Sigurdsson has been good marking Sanchez on corners aside.

If fit, James goes right back into the game.

This is where a squad filled with quality makes the difference, imagine being able to rely on the squad players to do the job against one of the weakest teams in the league?
To be honest, unless we had a squad like Man City's, I'd be pretty irritated at that level of rotation in this fixture. It's an absolute must win, critical game.

With that sort of insightful, cutting edge analysis, you could get a job with BT Sports
Thanks pal, but there is reasoning behind it. In most games you wouldn't be able to apply the same logic. Seeing as we've just come off the back of 2 hours against Spurs you'd imagine there to be tired legs within the ranks.
