The defence should have been the usual and if we kept it tight we would get a goal. When you rest your 1st choice centre backs you can't blame the team thinking this isn't an important match.

Also King should have started. We need outlet balls so they have to turn back and defend.

Without wanting to be too cynical, I rarely these days expect Coleman to put in two solid back to back performances because I doubt he's got the legs for it.

Agreed. He looked good after coming off the bench, higher up and against tiring players on Wednesday.

Davies, Gomes and Doucoure need to do more here. Docucoure tends to get better as the game goes on so I’m not worried about him but the other two need to step up.

Gomes won’t win the ball back and is a liability when tackling in general. He also hasn’t passed very well so far but we know he’s capable of a great cross or two so let hope he can contribute something positive.
