Absolute bana skkin then. Feels set up just the way the Newcastle game was. They were on a losing streak and all we had to do was turn up. That worked well didn’t it?

Need to treat it seriously Or we will drop points. They are fighting for their survival.
if you look at trends / patterns from this season we tend to play our best football when we have multiple games in a short period of time

examples:-

1. 13th September 2020 - 3rd October 2020 - 7 games, 7 wins

2. 12th December 2020 - 26th December 2020 - 5 games, 4 wins

I said in the League Cup quarter thread and the spurs one prior to tonight the cups are a distraction this season.

Top 4 is a real possiiblity for the first time since 2004/05 - in that time I've seen us bottle cup finals, semi finals, quarter finals and many others.

Anyone who picks the cup competition over the league this season considering the financial implications and the need to sort our FFP defecit out to give Carlo the tools to rebuild the squad are daft considering we are realistically a Man City draw away from going out of it anyway.
Thanks for cursing us there mate lol

Obviously if you physically cant get down to GP thats understandable but Goodison would have been bouncing last night whereas I missed 2 goals down to a dodgy stream constantly sticking and the missus bollocking me for swearing when we kept misplacing simple passes lol

I laughed my head off seing Henderson lift the long awaited title in an empty Anfield most underwhelming title win in history.

Even if we win a derby or the cup as great as it will be you wont be at the ground, cant get down to wembley, cant head the pub with the lads afterwards and celebrate into the night its TV turned off and off to bed - footies all a bit underwhelming for me at the moment I love the atmosphere and the walk up to Goodison, the nerves just before kick off that I cant get sat watching a stream.

But ultimately my point stands if Carlo is to build something here for success he needs money and money is brought via European Qualification - this season is imperative we get Europe and losing your best players to injury abd playing 120 minutes midweek in a 5th round cup tie isnt ideal when you have 2x big energy sapping games coming up in Man City & Liverpool not including a Fulham fighting for their lives down at the bottom. Some think we have the squad depth to finish top 6 and win a cup well lets see.
Fancy a Blue watching that - dearie me.

I've never seen it, easy to avoid if you've half a mind... which begs another question

Didnt see the full thing just Henderson doing the trophy lift on the bbc news which was hilarious.

Anyone who can seriously say football is the same without fans must never have enjoyed a proper away day or the match day routine of the nervy walk to the ground and a few bevvys with the lads afterwards celebrating the 3 points.

Said to my mate who's a Kopite even if we win the derby next week as great as it will be the sad part is once the games done I'll be winding a few up online and posting on here and thats it - just isn't the same at the moment.
