An extra midfielder would be better even. Maupay = nothing. In fact it's worse than that because he cannot win a header or hold up the ball, so we're immediately back under pressure. Awful choice to play him.

The biggest thing I can say is Maupay is worse than Rondon.... Simms would have scored one of them chances Maupay has had, truly awful footballer, absolute dross.

Poor start but working our way into. McNeil been lively but goodness me Maupay is poor. If we don't beat this Fulham side we only have ourselves to blame. They look so vulnerable at the back.

The little interplay where he should've scored is the type of player he is.

Sadly the last time that type of football happened was when he scored against West Ham at home. 99% of the time since he's chasing hoofball.

Not saying he's any good. He's not. It's just a spectacularly odd transfer made without thought.

Yep, that half has to be the end of “training really well” Maupay. No downside at all to playing Simms every week til the end of the season. He will miss chances and have crap games, but it will at least aid his development. All playing Maupay is doing is halving his fee in summer.

I've liked bits Garner has done first half, cheeky little assist as well, his delivery in to the box will be a big asset

No surprise that with Iwobi in the middle and not 4-4-2 we started to dominate, no idea why he tried it again.

Simms will be sat there thinking he’d of had a goal by now.

4-4-2 with only hitting balls over the top is a bad idea. Maupay is not tall and fast and Gray needs the ball in his feet.

Opinions on Garner so far?

Like him, he’s got a quality right peg and with a decent striker he’d be racking up assists.

In fact he’s already got one today.

Was good. Better at football than Onana.

Why on earth did we start 4-4-2? It was never in a million years going to work against a team that runs off the ball as much as Fulham do.

Great end to the half, let's keep it going. Did not expect to feel like we should be 2 or 3 ahead at HT when we conceded.

Moving iwobi in the center has changed the game...but not sure if we can keep it going like that in the second half.
