Would have kept Godfrey left back and put Patterson in at right back.

Also kept Gray upfront.

But not sure that changes the outcome.

Heart sank when saw no Onana or Calvert Lewin on the bench. Didn't expect a result with that 11.

Personally wouldn't have had Godfrey within 5 miles of the stadium but its just a crap squad with a limited manager.

I'm not blaming Dyche either, I said it wouldn't matter who was in charge as there's not enough goals in the side to get us out of this mess.

This game has just proven how poor the squad is. DCL/onana/doucoure/Coleman all out and we get dramatically worse.

Doesn’t matter anyway as it is what it is and I think that’s us done.

This, love the club with my heart but there is more to life, more important matters in the world than a game

If we go down we will as fans we will just get on with it and still support Everton, that’s just the way it works.

I'm an eternal optimist when it comes to the Blues and I've never seen us in the lower leagues in my sixty years of supporting them.

But I think that is that.

I think we're done for now in terms of our top-flight status. And I don't imagine we'll be seen again in my lifetime.

And the stadium project is obviously over. Teams in the lower leagues don't build brand-new world-class international stadiums on the waterfront. It just doesn't happen.

Don’t worry - an opportunistic billionaire sheik/industrialist/hedge-fund will buy us as the next Man City/Newcastle/Man U/Chelski and we will be back
