The one thing that stood out today, was how hard they worked and if you work hard on and off the ball, more often than not, the quality will come through and you'll get your rewards. It's only what the RS and City do. They work so hard, pick up the 2nd balls and the lose which in turn creates space for the better footballers and the openings will come.
Difficult to choose an MOM, but stand outs for me were Iwobi who typified what I said about hard work. Jonjo Kenny, best game for us by far and Shaemus hardly put a foot wrong. But probably go for VDB. He was everywhere. I feel a bit unfair leaving anyone out. Richarlison caused them problems as did DCL and Gordon. Everyone else played their part. Long may it continue. COYB.

De Beek motm today I think. Kept the ball moving, took it under pressure, worked hard and put in some challenges. Nice of Man Utd to loan us their best midfielder!

Gordon and Allan brilliant today too, as were Iwobi and Richarlison... a good team performance!
Find it mad how he’s been completely pushed aside there.

I assumed that it was because he played in either Pogba or Bruno’s position. But I’m not having for a second that this lad isn’t worth a game over Fred or Mctominay.

At 2-0 early in the second half we allowed them more time on the ball and I thought they might get back into the game. However we got the third because we got in their faces and stopped them from advancing. That’s the way. Go after every ball. The big thing now, is to keep this level of commitment up.

Why are you trying to police other peoples excitement ye creep lol
Haha Christ, creep's a new one!

Nowt to do with that at all. Just about trying to not go overboard when we play well and equally not go overboard when we're awful...

VdB played one very good game for us and he's now better than one of the best midfielders in the Premier League era?

I'm buzzing, absolutely buzzing. But we're still 16th, still need to learn how to string a few good performances together. If every home game can be like that we'll be fine, but we need to maintain that level in the away games too and go from there don't we.

Evertonians love building things and hyping things up only for it to backfire on us spectacularly if you haven't noticed..
