Massive game this on Saturday now. Albeit yesterday was as well.

For me I think we will edge a win. Its important we get dcl back involved. Alli should be dropped as we can't carry players atm. We need 11 workmanlike performances.

If we lose this then it's very hard to see where the next win comes from. Particularly given the negativity that a loss would bring.

I think it is the right game. They play high press, Dele is fantastic at running in behind. If we can stay calm in midfield, he would have a great time making runs causing problems, and would work much better with DCL imo

Yeah true. Thing I’m worried about the most is the defence, leeds Front 3 are rapid aswell lad. We’ve got no pace at the back:

I’m gonna go for bearing in mind injuries Mina/Gray, Back four looks very fragile, but I can’t have coleman in again.

based on the injuries and suspensions we have and presuming that Myko is back. If not I would play Kenny at LB and Coleman at RB. I think regardless of the personnel we need a 3 man central midfield. 2 in the middle might work against Brentford at home but it has not worked for the majority of the season

Well all the new founded optimism didn't last long did it.. Tuesdays game which we thought we entered in a confident mood fell apart very quickly. We led for about 90 seconds, picked up 2 more injuries, a covid case and a suspension.

Saturday sees Leeds come to Goodison in a game we simply must win. We have to start picking up points and fast. A win here and we drag Leeds back into the mix too. They are not great but have a lot of pace and power. Something we don't cope well with.
Our team selection will be interesting with injuries and suspensions adding to our strife.
Donny and dcl id expect to start.
We need to start well , get goodison and angry and make it hard for them. It won't be easy as our confidence fragile but we need to pick up the win
So some on blues, into these Yorkshire beauts , some one knock bielsa off his little bucket and make it a bear pit.

It's already clear that they'll have so much more fight and grit than our team. And that will probably be the difference.

We will gift them enough chances for them to nick a goal, and that'll probably be that.

Jesus Christ that midfield is proper horrific. Surely playing Holgate as DM must be considered.

Gbamin and Gomes together. The will both want 5 minutes on the ball before finding a pass. Suppose gbamin will bring a bit strength and Height in there, but from what I’ve seen of him. There’s no way he warrants a start, Gomes shouldn’t after last night. But it is what it is. Depressing.

It’s got to be 433. There is no defensive setup that isn’t going to be poor, the key going forward is to retain the ball and give the defence as little work as possible. A midfield trio of Allan, VDB and one of Gomes or Alli OUGHT to be able to dominate Leeds’ midfield and control the game.

If we can retain the ball better and supply a front 3 of, say, Gordon, DCL and Richy this should still be a game we can win. One positive is that, unlike last night where Newcastle were coming in much fresher than us and it showed second half, we have one extra day of rest over Leeds.
