Injuries have always been a thing. I’m not the hypocrite for now calling out that people are using it as an excuse. It’s always been an excuse. Benitez had them as well. Both Lampard and Benitez are having to put out teams without Mina and Doucoure, and without those two the back 4 suddenly looks very very vulnerable so they revert to a back 5.
