Said before if we set up like Fulham it'll be kamikaze football.

All they have to do is punt, cross field, or one two in either channels and they're in. Davies and Iwobi just look lost are getting 2v1'd all the time. Every chance has come down either wing.

If this is all to give James a free role, just pack the midfield and play him as a number 10.

We have no full backs in the squad though. Really aren't that many options when that's the situation.

True but he's playing closer to DCL at times in the middle. Giving Iwobi the space.

Problem is Allan or Doucoure not being switched on to fill the defensive gaps. It happened when Holgate went on a run...left us 2v2 at the back cos no one dropped in.

That Holgate turnover was freaking terrible and he stood and watched it leaving us more exposed.

You can tell we don't all the way know how to handle situations in this system.

Does any other goalkeeper hesitate coming out to claim a ball as much as Pickford does? Genuine question? It must be terrifying playing in front of him as a defender. He shouts for them to leave it and then changes his mind and runs back on to his line, it’s ridiculous.

That's why he's just an average keeper.

I dont get that offside rule - if Godfrey got a touch fair enough but he's not even effected the ball was going in regardless.

VAR is fine its the laws that are astoundingly bad and need common sense tweaking.

Our back 3 cannot come out over half way then give it away short. They have left us wide open on transition by giving it away.
