Lets be honest about our three games since the league restarted, they haven’t been pretty but then again very few have. We aren’t knocking teams over with our flowing football and talent. However we have played the European and English champions and could and maybe should have beaten them. We beat the third placed team. 7 pts from 9 is a good return particularly when it has been done with a squad not of our managers choosing. If Carlo can get results out of this lot think what he can do when he starts to bring in players he actually wants. Roll on Spurs.
just keep winning , keep the points coming , the players will play better football with wins confindence - and you lot back in the stadium

Honestly, reading back through this thread after their goal went in is utterly embarrassing. As soon as the goal goes in the mentality switches to pure panic and doom and gloom. I'm so glad we're playing the last few games behind closed doors as it'll give this limited team a chance to gel and without the unnecessary pressure from fragile fans who can't control their emotions. People don't like to hear it but the doom and gloom attitude displayed in here around the time of the goal is part of the problem. We have a proper manager in charge now who knows how to set a team up, so trust him, and don't be so quick to scoff at him bringing on an extra midfielder or defender if he thinks that's what's needed.

It's almost as if some want us to lose so they can say "I told you so, we're terrible lad. I told yer! Same old Everton!"

Here's a few posts before I got bored.
The best thing about that post Is I have nearly all of them on ignore!

Dont you just love when the only thing an opposing fan can say is something about where you come from , as its already well and truly set in that there team has been surpassed from a team in league 1 not to long ago :) Don’t hate , appreciate Chester ;)
I’m actually pointing out that your city is the location equivalent of herpes

A good strategic performance and pleasing to our eyes even as we are on the defensive end. It's nice to see attacks and attacks being nullified with preconceived structured defence.

Not entirely sure. Doesn't look fit to me. He'll come good again
That kind of player (those with insane pace) tend not to tail off. They drop off a cliff more often that not as the pace vanishes rather than declines. I think if Rogers can ‘convert’ him into a different type of player you might get another two or three seasons from him. He is much cleverer than he gets credit for However, and I think is is the type who could be coached into a different role.

Wouldn't hurt to put a team away here and there. A +2 goal difference when you've got 4 extra wins isn't always a good sign.

The goal difference is distorted by the 4 nil hammering at Chelsea. That was the only game where we really didn't turn up under Ancelotti.

We've ground a lot of narrow wins out. They count for the same number of points as Chelsea got for thumping us.

We also should have 4 more points than we do too. The collapse against Newcastle and the VAR call against United will probably be the difference between getting Europe and missing out.
