Match Thread Everton V Leicester. Sat Feb 1st. 3pm

Everton could win three consecutive Premier League games if they dispatch Leicester. No idea when that last happened. A third win from four games for Moyes would also equal what Dyche managed in nineteen games this season. I hope the win comes but it just seems inconceivable that we could win three games on the bounce and Dyche would be made to appear completely utterly useless

Dyche already has been proved completely useless.
However when have Everton ever given us fans a chance to relax a bit more and win 3 games on the bounce, I feel more nervous as the days go by for this sat 😬

O'Brien did well in the last 2 games but wonder should Young come back in at RB for this to add more attack down the right against a weaker side. Maybe even put Young Or Patterson RW. Move Lindstrom into the 10 and Doucoure onto the bench
I'd settle for literally any setup that involves Doucoure to the bench

Watching him in possession makes my eyes bleed.

Wanna play him when we have 12% possession chasing the ball around? Fine.

Against a side like this? Good god

Happened at end of last season in April one of Dyches 2 purple patches.

Beat Forest, then Liverpool then Brentford in the space of a week.

Dyche managed to win 4 games in a row during the first purple patch after the points deduction in the December.

The issue was just all the other games we had to play.

Last season it was four straight wins. Forest away then the two homes v Newcastle and Chelsea and then a win at Burnley. Then no win for about 12 games so let's hope there isn't a repeat as there would still be a chance of relegation.

I think the 11 will probably stay the same. The problem is going to be the bench for this game if it's still level with half an hour left. Leicester at Spurs put on Buonanotte and Daka with 20 minutes left to see things out and think Mavididi was unused sub.

Basically Harrison is going to be the only experienced attacker on the bench as things stand and Moyes has quickly worked out he's useless so not been played since Villa with better results.

This reminds me of Leeds at home under Dyche. Get a goal from anywhere and then just stick defenders on to get a 1-0 done as it is going to be very limited options indeed if there are no signings in next 48 hours.

Also I doubt very much Garner will be lasting more than an hour so not sure what happens when he comes off.

This is game where ideally need to be 2-0 up with twenty minutes left otherwise things will be very nervous and it will be a struggle to get up the pitch apart from when Ndiaye gets it but he can't be everywhere.
