I have learned that Everton's form has no real bearing on the Merseyside derby, i.e., Everton never seem able to compete against the RS. The last time I can recall anything positive(ish) from this fixture was the 3-3 home draw in Nov 2013 when that Spanish fella was in charge.

I'd take a draw right now.
Absolutely hate them.

Thank god I'm in work for it. Not in the mood to be hearing "Liverpool liverpool liverpool" chant in that depressing tone of voice.

Keep thinking why not?? Easy to say but last night after those tackles flew in afte 20 mins I sensed a game and season changer similar to when Neville did Ronaldo, and said to my son we will win this although we will have a big scare. Couldn't have been more right, think we are long overdue a deby win so prepare for a blue Christmas everyone!! Then again we do always get a kick in th knackers...............................

Had a feeling all weekend after hearing how Koemans win against arse last season kick started there season that we'll win tonight then do that lot next Monday.

I've backed Koeman all season but I'll be massively peeved off if he even dares change that team against the Kopites. Barry needs to be kept on the bench he's too slow in midfield and Valencia needs to be kept up top with Rom.

If we can match their pressing and work rate we can get at their defence and awful keeper. We need Goodison rocking aswell basically a replica of tonight and we have this in the bag.

This.
Although would consider Barry at centre half anyone?? Would feel more confident with him there than Funes Mori

Between now and next Monday, all of our players need to keep schtum, with no interviews promising the fans a victory.

Just repeat the commitment and passion displayed last night, and we are in with a good chance.
