Dominic Calvert-Lewin speaks. “Very strange ... we’re disappointed we didn’t kick on at 1-1 ... it’s coming, I genuinely believed the day would be today that we’d do it, but it’s not to be, so we go the next one ... we had chances to go on and win it, but didn’t take them ... I’m disappointed that we didn’t win the game ... it’s frustrating ... but in terms of the bigger picture we didn’t lose and keep the unbeaten run going.”

very well said DCL.. shows ambition and expectations...

Where did leaving out the word to come from.. "we go the game" "we go the next one"? I don't really like how it sounds.

Liverpool looked like what they are, champions and best team in the league.

Easy to look at us and think we underperformed but I think we were just that 5-10% off them, and in the context of the first sentence I think that is a credit to the team when you look at our starting point 6 weeks ago.

Crucially we found ways to penetrate them and walk away 3 points clear. That is huge progress.

Let others beat them, we need to kick on now.

The irony is full in that last post

Watched it on a stream, boy some things going on, a wee bit of madness at times. We could have won this if we had exercised a bit more restraint and composure.

Well we remain unbeaten and top.

Turned off after the goal, thought we'd lost it, found out after the game ended we hadn't.

But just saw the offside... I'm obviously happy it's went our way but that's killing the game and needs to be binned off. That's a farcical decision.
Thing is, it now seems just totally random. It’s just as error prone, yet worse to watch than the old system of just letting the refereeing team make the calls.
