If you had offered me 1pt from 2 derbies at the start of the season I would have said to go stick it. TBH it was a match between 2 teams paralysed by fear. We've forgotten how to win against these lot, and in turn they're paralysed by the thought of winning the league again, something that both sets of supporters have been conditioned to believe they will never again live to see.
Every year they think this will be different. Watching their hopes dashed is one of the few consolations of modern footie

The key thing was the performance, I wouldn't worry too much about the score. I've seen times too numerous to count, where we've drew 0-0, 1-1 and the odd 2-2 and even a 3-3 where we 'won on points' - but only got 1pt.

Onwards and upwards Mr Silva, keep them at this level - its your job to lose.

but VvD was MoM, we couldn't have been that shabby if he had lots of work to do to get MoM

To be honest, until late in the game, it was difficult for us to create clear chances. Gomez and Lovren were both out, so Matip played. DCL battled bravely on his own, but VvD himself was rarely troubled.

But it was a great team performance! And Man of the Match has gone from none of the above to all of the above.

I posted earlier about the claim that Everton celebrated a 0-0 draw. I've got LFC TV on my subscription and Aldridge and Molby looked like
they were going to cry on Match Reaction. They harped on about the goals they missed and said they should have won. No mention of Everton's near misses.

There was extensive footage of the players and managers hugging on the ground after the whistle and not one Everton man had a smile on his face, so
who was celebrating? I'm fed up with drawing this derby. It's better than losing, but I'm not celebrating.

went for Pickford for winning two one on ones with salah. One of the best games for a couple of years, Liverpool the better side but they were'nt allowed to play. Dyke ruled the game but we got past him a few times, wallcott was rightly substituted, he didn't look right from the start, bernard got round them a few times and was inches from putting in the winner...Richarlison came on and got past a few times too, just shows what they can do when they want to... Let's hope it's kept going now and improved for the rest of the season

A decent enough result and performance but feels again like a missed opportunity. Like last seasons game, up against an awful Liverpool team on the day and there for the taking but we sit off them and left it too late to take the game to them. They shaded it until then with the chances but once we had a go there was only one team in it.

They aren't winning anything. No worries there but a defeat would have devastated them and would have been the perfect time to end the long wait.

I honestly can't decide which will be my favourite Liverpool title clapse, this one or the Gerard one
The Gerrard one will take some beating
The we must not let this slip shouts and then him slipping to allow Demba Ba in to score will live long in my memory
This meltdown will be sweet purely because of that buck toothed Dentists pension fund arrogant German Prat

That is pathetic as well mate but I was more on about the fans. Made up they have dropped points because of us as couldn't think of anything worse of them winning the league. The way we celebrating though was over the top when we haven't bloody beaten them since 2010.
It is pathetic when we are pathetic but if we were a top 6 club it wouldn't be pathetic, it's our patheticness as a football club that's really pathetic.
