Hi. Question about city centre pubs. Have some friends in town who want to watch the game in a pub.
Now there's plenty of places that show the game but I want one that'll be full of our fans (can't really face a pub full of reds. Especially if they win). Anyone any suggestions?

County Road is really your only bet if you want to avoid them. They'll be all over town.

Tbh most of us will be in the ground

..we have picked up 3 points from a possible 33 against the top 6 clubs. I fear much of this is down to Allardyce throwing in the towel for these games. It does say a lot about how we approach them.

Personally it's more down to the unbalanced squad. Those 3 points were use mainly backs to the wall defending. The other games where we've not been ultra defensive, we've been hammered.

So we either have a go and more likely lose. Or defend. IMO.

..except you look at Arsenal away and City at home and see team selections that are almost a white flag. That’s what disappoints me most.

On County Road....quiet to be fair, having a few pints with my mates. It’ll be bouncing come kick off, no worries about that.

I don’t care about Allardyce currently, I don’t care a jot about them, I care about this Rverton team having a right go and showing up for once. Despite such a poor year, there is a good team in there somewhere; we just don’t see it often.

We need to compete and win individual battles, close down space and when we have the ball, look to keep it. Walcott & Tosun to have huge games, with some magic from Rooney.

.....Get me another Stella!!
