I think tactically it would be best to setup similar to the end half against City i.e. 'low block' with fast wingers for breaking.

I would like to see Walcott, would Calvert-Lewin be of use wide left? I think Rooney may be best as a substitute here late on, and not necessarily in midfield.

In years gone by, we've always had a 'ref for the derby' thread, where we can criticize whoever gets the gig. The fact we've got the best in the business (Michael Oliver) and it wont help us one bit, says much about the mass apathy engulfing the club at the moment.

I think the fact that the fixture is sand withced between a European quaterfinal will c hange the whole dynamics . I dont expect to face a mighty liverpool 11 . Unless Klopp is completely stupid , he will rest most of his first 11 for the away fixture against city . So let us hope we wont have to face the wrath of Salah and Firmino for 90 min . And apart from these two , i think we have the players to handle other RS . 1-1 for me .

I have said that I wouldn't watch some of the recent derbies, but inevitably tuned in. I think I will skip this one. The stevie gbh 3-0, that semi, the 2 x 4-0s (which should've been 10), the late Sturridge equaliser, the even later Mane winner....I can't take it anymore.
