Klopp moaning about a fixture again, I think he wants the Premier league to cancel the game and let him decide when all the games should be played.

Definitely one of the stupidist managers we've seen in the prem. How will his squad of £400m odd cope with two games in a week?

As usual, I'm writing off this fixture and I fully expect the twice-yearly capitulation against a team who haven't exactly wiped the floor with us in terms of trophies won in the past ten years or so.
We'll give them far too much respect, just like we normally do, and we'll take to the pitch with the mentality that we cannot possibly beat them.
It's a shame we can't just let them have the three points without playing them. We'd would at least save ourselves the embarrassment.

They will be drained physically and mentally after that with their eyes on the return leg too, so how embarrassing will it be when we can't take advantage of it? Anyone who thinks we have what it takes to do so is just setting themselves up for another fall.

The match will be like the oblivion ride in Alton Towers. A couple of seconds looking into the abyss and then you [Poor language removed] ye keks. So to speak.

I can't believe people would go to Alton towers and go on a ride that simulates the feeling of an evertonian on derby day. If they could simulate the feeling man city fans get most weeks I would fly back home just to go on such a ride , just to see what it feels like.

We need Gana to be fit for this one as he gives us that much needed press and energy in midfield.

They'll not be at full pelt get a midfield 3 of Gana, Davies and Banigme and have the energy in midfield with pace in Bolasie and Walcott out wide.

Is it fitness or effort?. Liverpools team work rate intensity and pressing off the ball. Its like a different universe to our slow, individual, ineffective off the ball tactics.

This isnt football ability. Its fitness, age, effort, workrate, agressivness.

I agree with you in that its "fitness, age, effort, workrate aggressivness". All of those things. But, sadly I differ in that I'd say they do have some football ability too. Regrettable I know. But there it is.

These two wont make a difference.

Davies will run round falling over and passing to the opposition for 90mins or until he gets subbed.

Banigme doesn't have the experience.

Its like people forget this supposedly world class Liverpool in our last 2 games have drew 1-1 and needed a penalty to beat us in the 2nd fixture both at Anfield.

At Goodison this is our best chance in years no way will they be at full strength and if they are they'll be tanked come 70 minutes after tonights performance

Providing we aint 2-0 down at HT we have a big chance of winning providing Sam actually lets the chains off like he did in the cup tie in which we actually stood toe to toe with them.

Everyones knows we're getting nothing out of this game, but if we are to get anything there needs to be a good atmosphere at GP and kick them into defeat!
