I can see some defensive streength in having Coleman & Holgate dropping back in the wide positions to shore up the back three, but I do not see any great organisational idea with the rest.

Will it be Barry in front of the back three, with Davis linking with him, and Mirallas & Barkley in free roles just behind/alongside Lukaku? If that kind of thing works, it could rip the Citeh defence to shreds; it if doesn't, they could carve up our midfield good-style...

Am very worried by davies / barry combo against a top team like this ... mainly because of the lack of pace between them

both of them will put there foot in but if they get a few ball's played around them they will struggle .. and to be honest its unfair for a 18 year old to do the running for two players

am keeping the faith but highlighting my worry

It's an absolutely mad team selection. We are there for the taking from City's point of view.

Inexperienced lads in defence and midfield, Barry labouring around the middle of the park. The sad thing is that I think we could have really got at City today, not now.
