Well since James is out might as well stick with the same way we've been playing even though it's was starting to falter at Arsenal I thought, Let Richarlison target who they put at RB and hopefully get some joy from that area since AWB who is a very good 1 vs 1 defender is ruled out.
No doubt. Defend deep, hope Pickford doesn't screw up and try to find a goal on the break or from a set play.

It's just great to get some fans back inside Goodison but reading the press it looks as though there'll be a massive expansion of tier 4 on Boxing Day followed by a national lockdown late December, it could even be a national lockdown from boxing day. Tier two areas are likely to be tier 3 at minimum and possibly tier 4 the rate is rapid with the new variant everywhere. Sefton is now 114 (formerly 80), and Liverpool 149 for the week ending Dec 15th.

- not official but it's been ominously leaked to their favourite media sources - the figures are frightening and perhaps worsened by the great escape from tier 4 areas to invade the north and Midlands after the last announcement.

Whichever way the United game tonight could be our last with fans until Easter time

Carlo said he's going to play his best team. Well his best team just played on the weekend, so I suppose he's going to go with what works. I don't think he wants to lose to Man U two times in a row at home that's for sure.

Olsen
Holgate Keane Mina Godfrey
Davies (or Gomes) Doucoure
Iwobi Sig Richarlison
DCL

I know Coleman can come in - we need a team with plenty of pace against Man U especially on the wings... that's definitely what was lacking last time, what surprised me was how much quicker Man U were and how more athletic they were. Man U perfectly exposed us last time, and our current team is an identification of those mistakes. I think Carlo will want to play this new setup against Man U again.

Should have read week ending Dec 18th not 15th

Expect some changes from Arsenal due to the December fixtures.

I can see Olsen in for Pickford and the same back four however Coleman and Nkounkou coming in would be help with the attacking threat especially with United having full back issues themselves.

Midfield wise we have few options so expect Sigurdsson, Davies and Doucoure but don't rule out a start from Gomes.

Again the same up top with Richarlison, DCL and Iwobi to start after striking up a good partnership.

A big opportunity after a year of Carlo so COYB and book that Semi slot.
